This workaround is for use where an Email has been created in outlook and the "save to CMS" option is pressed, the CMS client details have been added and the User has pressed the Send email but subsequently there is an error in outlook and the email has not been saved into the clients file.
the workaround is as follows:
1. open the email in Outlook,
2. click the File tab and press the "save as" link on the left.
3. browse to a location on your computer, the file name can be left as the subject and the save as type needs to be set as HTML (*.htm; *.html)
4. Now open a file browser window and navigate to the location choosen in point 3.
5. right click the file folder where the name of the folder is the email subject with "_files" appended to the folder name and select the Rename option and give the folder a new name. it is not important what this name is. A pop up box called "Rename folder" will appear asking you to confirm the folder name change, click yes.
6. Delete the folder you renamed in step 5, now you are left with a single Htm file which you can copy to the import location on the server.
7. After copying the file to the import location you can use the import document function to add the email to the clients file.
This issue will be re-examined when all CMS users are running in a cloud enviroment, at which point comms issues can be ruled out.
